Tim, I have seen on a few other forums they are talking about the need for permits on WMA lands in Arkansas. That you NEED to have a permit to use the lands. But in the permit you are waiving your rights to search and seizure.
here is what I am referring to.
I know a lot of duck hunters are not signing this as it gives the DNR the right to…[Read more]
I’m glad the 31-165A mold is working for for several people. I designed it for a factory Remington 308 throat. Popper I did not know you were using this one too. If I would have done it different I would have spec’ed the bore rider section to be 0.301″ Just to help it center it even more.
I have also found in 308 and 7.62×54 R that RL15 does…[Read more]
You have been given the best answer by the above two. One thing I could add. CONSISTENT. Be consistent in everything you do. Everything from your lead to sizing your brass to seating the bullet. The more consistent you are with everything the better you are going to do.
And take notes. Write down everything. What lead mix you used to the temp…[Read more]
I have had 3 of the Armscor guns. The first was a STI Spartan. That went back to the factory STI not Armscor 3 times. The dovetails for both sites were milled wrong. Looking from the top they were off 90 deg to the frame by about 5 deg counterclockwise. And from looking from the rear of the slide they were about 5 deg counterclockwise. I took it…[Read more]
Most what I find is the FC 556. And LC. We have a huge commercial loader here and he uses whatever brass he gets. It is all run through a swager. I look for silver primers in the 556 and that is usually a reload. They still go right to the scrap bucket. Been finding lots of winchester lately. For the longest time it was Remington. Heck I auctioned…[Read more]
About cutting the barrel. I thought I read a article about short barrels and the benchrest crowd found that the 19″ give or take a inch depending on caliber was the stiffest and worked the best for tuning.
All of my 5.56 brass goes to the scrap yard. Not worth my time as I have access to thousands of rounds of commercial cases. I even sell the commercial once in a while as I get too many. I tried to sell the 556 brass but no one wanted it so the scrapyard is giving $1.78/lb right now. Soooooo
I searched my old laptop and can not find the Data sheet like for the 175gr. Snipers hide switched forum hosting a few years ago and the search feature does not work with the old site data. This file I had on my photobucket account and I down loaded it to the site so if anything happens to my account the info will not be lost. The 168gr data came…[Read more]
The gr load of 4064 was confirmed by Federal as the load they used on the 175gr HPBT Sierra match. Someone on Snipers hide showed actual documentation with the load data for the 168 and the 175gr loads.
The only way this is going to work is to have people have faith in GOD and some ethics again. Until people have a change in how they are, nothing is going to change. Most of the US is soooo uninformed it is stupid. I hate talking to people in their 20’s and 30’s right now. They are so brain washed it is crazy. A couple years ago I had to show one…[Read more]
I mainly troll for the catfish. Just like the guys after walleye do. If you look in some of the pictures you can see the float that helps keep the cut up shad off the bottom. The last two pictures show the 3-way rig and I also use a rattle in front of the float. You wouldn’t think a rattle would work but it does. I had my butt handed to me one…[Read more]
I love to catfish!. In the last couple of years I have moved from shooting every day to fishing. I still shoot but no where near as much as I used to. My health is limiting me from standing much so I sit in my boat instead. Most of these were all last year
