Easy to make, uses up old bread, and will shine with your homegrown tomatoes and basil this summer.
My wife has a tomato/basil soup recipe that is nearly identical ingredients. The main difference is the veggies are put in a cake pan and grilled until soft. You get a bit of smokey flavor added in!!
BTW this stuff is to die for!
