Just wondered if any of you have one these revolvers?
If so, would you buy it again?

I have two single sixes, but liked the compactness of the Bearcat to carry in the woods in a shoulder holster.

I think I got mine when I was about 15 and I’m 73 now! Serial # is 15xx and it’s been shot so much I had mine rebuilt probably cause when I was young and dumb I had a fast draw rig made for it and practiced A LOT with it empty. Don’t shoot 22’s so much anymore due to trying to find them mostly. Back when I was single it usually consumed 500 rounds on a Sunday outing. If I was down to one it’d still be my pick. FWIW

They are neat and very nicely made. Had one many years ago but traded it off. Grip was just too small to hold on to it properly and I felt making oversize grips would throw the whole gun out of balance.

Still want one. Don’t know what I’m waiting for.

Back in the day Fitz made an oversized grip for them and I bought a set. Makes all the difference in the world and after this much time Bearcats look strange to me without them!

Has the Bearcat been converted to .32 H&R mag?

Well I finally got to look at a Ruger Bearcat today.
Such a beautiful little revolver, like a poem.

Too bad my eyes just won’t pick up those small sights anymore.

I did get to handle a Ruger Redhawk .45LC/.45 ACP with the round butt style.
Wow I would love to own that one.

Just don’t have the $800 to spend right now.
