I’ve been reading on some threads here on this forum of price gouging on powder and primers. I just got an e-mail from Precision Reloading, and their prices seem to be as reasonable as I find anywhere lately. Let the buyer beware ….

Thanks for the lead. They are better stocked than my usual suppliers, and their prices are not bad either.

Powder Valley still has a good supply of some powder, but no Federal primers.
They seem to have vanished early on.

Seriously. More’s the pity. I miss Federal primers dearly. I had several of my leverguns tuned very light on the hammer strike so the lever could be worked like a rabbid squirrel, and I’ve had to replace the mainsprings with the originals because none of the others pop as light as the Federal 210.
      Epic bummer.

I found some Federal 210 gold match primers at the LGS for $39.95.

      I bought two thousand.

Ever notice when components you like become unavailable, price doesn’t seem to matter as much.

I try to avoid buying CCI BR because the price on those is ridiculous.
      They are good primers though.

That’s a fair price for Federal Gold. I’d have smiled all the way home if I could make that score!!!

They had plenty of them but all I could afford was two. There was no limit , but other people wanted then too I am sure.
