I was out at the range with a shooting buddy the other day and I was practicing with my Ruger Hawkeye with some cast loads. They were performing well and my buddy asked if he could try them in his AR. Of course I said yes. He fired several mags worth with no cycling problems. These happened to be cast with Tac-1 lube on them. He also reloads with me and said he would like to make up a batch for himself. My concern with the lubed bullets was problems with the gas port. I immediately thought of PC as a better alternative to avoid this problem. Any experience with PC in an AR?

No direct experience with PC in the AR, but many have claimed that it runs flawless. YMMV
