I have been in pain most of the week.
I go to get an ultrasound of my gall bladder tomorrow morning.

I am hoping it isn’t what the problem is because I would naturally wish to avoid surgery if possible.

Maybe a stomach ulcer, but I hope to know soon so I can get it behind me.

Just hope it doesn’t ruin Christmas for my family.

Don’t mean to complain, just stating the facts.

      Thank you my friend.

You never know when you grow old.
I am over due for a follow up colonoscopy.
He said he would run a scope in both ends.

I ask he to do the front end first.

Just got through going through gall bladder problems back in February. Take it from me. DO NOT LET IT BURST !!
The surgery is a snap, nothing to it just do not let it burst.
If it should burst there is a very good chance it will kill you.

Good news for today. No Gall Bladder issue. Now to move on to the next diagnostic phase.. Probably a stomach ulcer which will be much easier to treat.
My liver enzymes are good and my Pancreas also looked normal.

It is an upper stomach problem of some sort, but for me it is good new that I don’t need surgery.

      Gall bladder trouble.
The Doc said I have sludge or sandy like substance in my Gall Bladder.
I go back for a nuclear medicine test, to see if it is functioning properly or has to come out.

I figure if it is not going to clear up it needs to come out.

The Doctor said it is because I lost over twenty pounds in six months.
He said with people who have gastric bypass surgery, they go ahead and take the gall bladder out at the same time, because with excessive weight loss,it will cause the body to form gall stones.

I didn’t have a gastric bypass , just lost the weight to get my bloodpressure under control without medication.

I happen to be a very strong willed person.
I have quit smoking, quit alcohol, and quit whatever I have to, or need to for better health .

Upper chest pain? I get to see another gastro guy this month. From friends with gall problem, it can be caused by diet. Cousin’s hubby get his removed recently and he’s very happy. Freind with panceas cancer is doing the best she can, found it after a knee replacement. Surprising what they find when they look. Get well.

Thanks , I believe I am pretty healthy overall.
My wife has Myasthenia gravis. She has been on immunosuppressant drugs and has a fatty liver.

We always liked drinking a glass or two of wine in the evening.

I quit ,because I knew she didn’t need to be drinking it.
I needed to be the one to take the step for her well being.

I still miss red wine and craft beer, but not badly enough to ruin our health over it.
