Hi guys, I’ve been asked to draw up a couple of boolit designs for 44 mag in 300 and 250gn gaschecked and plain base.  They are wanting a scaled up version of my C358-180-RF boolit from way back.  I started with a .400″ nose length with 75% Meplat and had everything almost done when they mentioned using in lever actions, so… I need to find out what the various guns will feed and function with.

Also, does the Meplat need to be radiused on the edges to help with feeding, or can I just keep it flat?

    Here are some preliminary pics

    Thanks

    Glenn.
