I need an extractor for a Extractor for Budischowsky TP-70 pistol in .22 LR.
I’ve tried gunparts, but no luck.
      All help appreciated.

You can buy that part in any hardware store.
Piece of steel and a file. LOL!

I believe I’ll just mail the slide assembly to you. Yuk, yuk.

I’ll just buy a second gun and rob the parts we need, and charge you for the gun and the swap then throw what’s left over in the can. It would be cheaper.
      LOL!

I built a new hammer for an old french pistol that the sear had broken off of. Don’t remember the make, but it was brought back in WWII by this guy’s grandpa.
Anyway, I started with a piece of 4140, drilled holes where they should be, then filed and cut until it was the right shape, then heated, quenched in oil and annealed, cleaned it up, blued and away it went.
If you have the old one to use as a pattern, then you might give it a try.

Speedy metals has 4140 in various shapes by the inch. A 12″ piece of 1/4×1″ is only $6ish
I’m not a machinist, but ended up with a pretty good looking hammer.
Go slow, check and measure often…

When I inherited the pistol, it was in pieces in a box of junk. My oldest boy found all but the extractor, spring, and detent. He assembled it, and it fires. But, it is a single shot at this time. I wish I had something to copy.
