It has been a long LOOOOOOONG project, but one that I was determined was not going to beat me, and that I knew, if done right, would be very very special. It’s finally finished.
You can say whatever you want about Green Mountain barrels, but first let me say this: they take bluing salts like a Colt Python.
Ross, thank you for your patience on this project and allowing me the months I needed to make it excellent.

(sorry about the pictures. It’s horribly humid here and I think the lens was fogging up)

      Beautiful.
Now, I want to hear how it shoots!
I’ve always had a desire for a .22 Hornet, but still don’t have one.

I still have yet to test fire this rifle, but I will report when it’s done.

      Tim,

The proportions of that rifle look sweet. What is the length and contour of the barrel?

Very nice indeed. That gun will be fun to shoot indeed and look at when you get tired of shooting!

Great looking rifle, I always liked the look of the #1 Rugers but never owned one.
