I am still in the market for a Colt DA gunsmith. I just got done exchanging emails with Cylinder and Slide, who advise they cannot repair the timing issue with my King Cobra at this time. I sent this gun to a pistolsmith four years ago and he repaired it, but did not successfully address the timing. Does anyone know of a Colt DA smith who could look into this?
And as for C&S, are they moving out of the Colt DA repair business entirely(They still advertise Colt King Cobra action tune for &172.50 on their website), or are they just that backed up from the last election, perhaps? I have eight months before I get back to the US, but I would like to start looking now.
      Thanks,

      Bisley

      try here:
      http://www.glenncustom.com/
      or:
      http://lousgunwork.com/

a lot of the old quality gunsmiths for the Colts are now retired or deceased.
